Scope of this privacy notice

This notice explains how Fatpirate information portal handles personal data. It concerns this site alone – the pages you are reading now, our contact form and any correspondence you send us. It does not describe how the Fatpirate casino operator handles data inside its own player accounts, deposits or verification checks; that relationship is governed by the operator's own privacy terms, not by us. We are an independent portal publishing information about Fatpirate, and this document covers only what happens on our own domain.

Categories of information we collect

We collect two broad kinds of data. The first is technical and observational: your browser type, approximate location, the pages you visit, and standard log data your device sends automatically when it loads any web page. The second is data you hand over directly, mainly through our contact form – your email address and whatever you choose to write in the message body. We do not ask for, and do not want, identity documents, payment details or account credentials for any casino account; if a message to us contains that kind of information, we do not need it and would encourage you not to send it.

Why we process it and the lawful basis

We process technical data to keep the site working properly and to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful. We process contact-form data solely to answer the question you sent. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest for the operation and improvement of the site, and consent where a cookie or analytics tool asks for it separately (see our cookie policy). Where you write to us, replying is a legitimate interest in providing the service you asked for.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal data, to Fatpirate or to anyone else. Limited technical data may reach hosting infrastructure and analytics tooling that support the running of the site, and, where relevant, advertising partners who help fund independent publishing like ours. None of these parties receive the content of a message you send us unless it is strictly necessary to resolve it. We never pass your details to the Fatpirate operator – we have no channel to your casino account and no reason to share anything with it.

Your controls under UK GDPR

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis. To use any of these, write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you remain unsatisfied with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

  • Right of access – ask what we hold
  • Right to rectification – correct anything inaccurate
  • Right to erasure – ask us to delete it
  • Right to restrict or object – limit how it is used
  • Right to portability – receive it in a usable format
  • Right to withdraw consent – at any time, with no penalty

Minors and this site

This portal, and any information about the Fatpirate casino it carries, is intended strictly for adults. Access is restricted to persons aged 18+, in line with UK gambling advertising standards, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If a parent or guardian believes a minor has contacted us, we will delete the relevant data on request.
